Session FAQ

Preparing for a Reiki Session

  • When booking your first session, please fill out the form found in the initial appointment slot

  • Please arrive on time

  • Wear comfortable clothing

  • If possible, abstain from alcohol or recreational drugs 24 hours before your appointment

  • Stay hydrated the day of your appointment

  • Come with an open mind and be open to receive healing

  • Avoid eating a heavy meal before your session

What You Might Experience During The Session

  • Sensation of cold

  • Sensation of warmth

  • Tingeling

  • Relaxation

  • Experience a release that may cause laughter or crying

  • Some people may see colours or visuals in their mind's eye

  • Some people don't experience anything

Reiki energy is flowing through you and going to where it is needed in your body. Even if you don't feel anything, the energy is still working. And each session is different and you might experience something different at each session.

After the session

  • Drink lots of water

  • If possible have time after your session to relax and or reflect

  • Nourish your body with healthy food
